Back in 2014 I was lucky enough to win a an Instagram competition with @shore_projects, For my prize I was offered to choose any watch from Project 1 collection and an additional strap, I have never really had a decent watch before, since then my wrist feels naked without it!

I opted for a the statement Project 1 St Ives watch with th classic green strap and a spare black leather strap. I’ve always been more of a black and gold kind of lass so I mostly wear the gold or back straps, but it’s nice to have the option of colour to break up a look. After looking at the recent strap selection in the Shore Report zine I’ll be ordering from the silicone or polkadot range next.

I love my SP watch, the brushed gold and black watch face is strong yet elegant adding a modern twist to a retro style. Last month I was blessed with a SP Birthday gift – a free gold mesh strap as part of the Shore Projects Birthday gift programme. I can honestly with confidence that this is the best watch I’ve ever owned, and from a unique UK homegrown company who really look after their customers.

Thank you Shore Projects!

“Shore Projects is a watch brand inspired by the elementary beauty and idyllic fun of the British seaside. Started by a group of friends who one day happened to notice that none of them actually wore watches, our ambition was simply to create a timeless, quality product that could be worn every day, whether exploring pebbled stretches of beach or rambling through concrete city streets.”
